HEART OF CHRISTMAS
Christmas is the time of year again, when people are buying gifts for their loved ones, when people are starting to put Christmas decoration in their house, office and schools, and when the lord Jesus Christ was born. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. However, what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts given by your loved ones, the money given by your family, the Christmas decoration in your house, the foods prepared in the table, the socks hanging in the window, and greets of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?

For many people, December is a time of happiness. They have the extra money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. However, many are saddened at Christmastime when they think of their loved ones who will not be able to come home; complete family may be the only wish and not a reality for some and some people are not celebrating Christmas because of their religion, traditions and belief.

Many people are excited in attending the mass called “Misa de Gallo” or “Simbang Gabi” because they believed that their wish would be grant when they completed it because  God showing His great love for us. It can be a time for you to heal because of all the pain, sorrows and problems you have been through, and, forgive and forget those people who hurt you. Look at Christmas in a new way this year; it is the time to invite Jesus into your heart. The joy and peace you will receive from him will last all, as you believe him for all the time.

For me, Christmas day is the time of giving, sharing, forgiving and forgetting. You can give love and to feel them that they never feel lonely again, share your blessings and never be closefisted, and forgive and forget the people who hurt you. May the good times and treasure of the present become the golden memories of tomorrow. Wish you lots of joy, love and happiness.

Following health protocols is all we can do to help the frontliners. We will heal as one if we are one, so stop being naughty.
